X2: The Threat is a rather old game of the space simulation generation. The remaster doesn't make any changes to the game, except for HD textures support.

You'll need the GOG version to play (it's possible the Steam version will also work, but not checked). (The game itself is not included in the remaster)

1. Choose the language pack you want.

2. Copy 20.cat & 20.dat to the root of the game and select a resolution of 1920x1080 in the graphics settings.
