X2: The Threat is a rather old game of the space simulation generation. The remaster doesn't make any changes to the game, except for HD textures support.

You'll need the GOG version to play (it's possible the Steam version will also work, but not checked). (The game itself is not included in the remaster)

1. Choose the language pack you want.

2. Have an unpacked version of the game.

Replace the files on the path tex/true with new files

and select in the graphics settings resolution 1920x1080.
